General Motors of Canada becomes the first automaker in Canada to enable Amazon Alexa Skills.
Owners of most 2011 and newer Chevrolet vehicles in Canada can now remotely control your Chevrolet vehicles with a simple voice command.
With an Alexa-enabled device in home, you can remote start/stop your vehicle's engine or lock/unlock your vehicle using YOUR VOICE, without the need for keys or smartphone. By linking Owner Centre accounts with Amazon Alexa-compatible devices, you can now enjoy the convenience of the myChevrolet Alexa skills!
The Alexa Skills are available free of charge to all owners whose OnStar plans include remote keyfob services provided by the myChevrolet, mobile apps even if you're not currently mobile app users!
Currently, Amazon only offers the Alexa Voice Assistant service in English.
