The Chevrolet Trax might be small in stature, but it’s large in features and fun on the road. Recently face-lifted just a year ago, the 2018 Chevrolet Trax makes a serious statement on the road and is ready to tackle urban life and anything you throw its way.

For starters, the 2018 Chevrolet Trax is a true compact crossover and will adapt to any urban setting you throw it into with an overall length of just 167.20”. Despite that, the Trax offers up an impressive 529 litres behind the rear seats, and if those are folded down that increases to 1,370 litres. There’s room for 5 inside, and Chevrolet claims that if needed you can transport items as long as 8 feet with the rear seat folded down. Looks can be deceiving when it comes to interior space.

From the outside, the 2018 Chevrolet Trax is the definition of approachable. Rounded features and a friendly front grille give the Trax a gentle sort of nature, yet modern touches abound with standard halogen projector-type headlights and LED taillights.

An available RedLine edition is available for LT and Premier modles and features 18” black finish aluminum wheels with red accents, black mirror caps, a blacked out front grille, front and rear black Chevrolet bowties, black beltline moldings, and a black Trax badge with red outline.

Regardless of which model (LS, LT, Premier) or which drivetrain (FWD or AWD), the same engine is found in the 2018 Chevrolet Trax: a 1.4L ECOTEC turbocharged unit that produces 138 horespower and 148 lb-ft of torque that’s paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Inside the 2018 Chevrolet Trax you’ll find features like standard OnStar 4G LTE wifi connectivity, Chevrolet MyLink with a 7” color touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth and voice control.
